This theme focuses on the energy transition; the shift from fossil fuels (such as coal, oil, and gas) to sustainable energy sources (such as solar and wind) to reduce CO2 emissions and combat climate change. We focus primarily on the intersections with other themes (also known as the water-energy-food nexus) and on the social and legal aspects of the energy transition.
