Our mission is to connect, enrich, and develop the knowledge and skills needed to accelerate regional climate and sustainability transitions towards a climate-neutral, climate-resilient, liveable, and prosperous Zeeland delta. In concrete terms, this means that we work on collaborative projects with external partners to develop knowledge that will enable us to make an impact.

The Delta Climate Centre actively collaborates with businesses, government bodies, civil society organisations and research institutions. Together, we develop innovative solutions to complex challenges in the fields of water safety and availability, sustainable food supply and circularity/energy.

By combining scientific and practice-oriented research, education (vocational education, higher professional education and university education) and entrepreneurship, we translate knowledge directly into tangible impact for the delta.
