Work area

I am specialized in governance, policy and planning processes at sea, in delta’s and in coastal areas. My research focuses on processes of institutionalization of governance arrangements in several maritime policy domains (deep seabed mining, shipping, off shore energy and marine restoration), reflexivity, power, and regionalization at regional seas. 

What do you want to accomplish at the Delta Climate Center?

Contributing to sustainable regional transitions in the Southwestern Delta of the Netherlands, by developing innovative governance arrangements to realize a sustainable, livable and climate-proof delta.
