My PhD project focusses on understanding the physical adaptation solution space for global delta’s in response to climate change, specifically flood risks. We aim to develop a method to assess flood risk strategies, their effectiveness and their physical feasibility, and identify potential twinning delta’s that can share knowledge for Zeeland.

What do you want to accomplish at the Delta Climate Center?

I hope to engage with experts to explore how these insights can transition to a regional scale analysis, specifically focusing on identifying twinning delta opportunities.
