Within the Delta Climate Center, I work on the theme of ‘policy by simulation’.

My focus is on making digital technologies accessible and applying them to support and strengthen policy-making. I use these technologies to:

• foster collaboration between different disciplines,
• gain deeper insights into complex societal challenges, and
• create actionable perspectives within these challenges.

Through simulation and digital tools, we bring policy closer to practice and open up space for joint exploration of potential solutions.

Within the Delta Climate Center team, I am committed to learning together in our beautiful — though in some ways fragile — province.

For me, the essence of my work is bringing people together around the big societal issues we face.
